The website creator, Dan Lambert, currently lives in Dallas, Texas. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland with advanced degrees from Southwest Missouri State University and the University of St. Louis. He has taught behavior change in the public schools in the United States and was a guest lecturer in several universities in Japan.

The author has been a lifelong devotee of practicing healthy habits. At almost 60 years of age he still weighs the same and has the same size waist as he did on the day he graduated from college. He is rarely sick, has missed less than a handful of days from work due to illness over the past forty years and has never had a flu shot or the flu. He has, however, been in the hospital once for by-pass surgery. Despite all of his attention to nutrition and exercise, he just couldn't beat the genetic odds that were inherited from his parents and grand-parents. He now takes a medication to control his cholesterol but still sticks to a healthy diet and continues with a with a less strenuous workout routine which nevertheless continues to challenge him.
